With this Autumn/Winter drop, British label Bluebella once again proves just how distinctive its vision is. A wide cast of designs still bows to a single idea: refined, contemporary provocation with comfort quietly built in.
Within the collection you can trace two main directions:
- Minimalist sets in soft mesh and graphic strapping.
- Styles in the same sheer mesh, but enriched with intricate lace motifs.
There are also designs that weave all three elements together – mesh, straps and lace – as in the Eden story, which includes a bra, thong, ouvert back briefs and a body, created very much in the spirit of Bluebella’s open styles.
The showpiece nod to 70s glamour is the Alix set. One particularly striking bra features an unusual, statement back and a sweep of leaf-patterned lace crossing almost bare cups, sketching a bold, directional silhouette on the body.
