SYRN presents My First Rodeo as a festival-season offshoot of its earlier Romantic line. The connection is plain enough: broad stretch lace with a floral pattern, scalloped edges, and small bows.
This time, though, the lace appears not only in bras and briefs. It moves into a cropped top, a tiered miniskirt, a long skirt, a bodysuit, and short ruffled styles with cups.
The collection is held together less by one color than by this repeated treatment of lace. Lavender, lemon, milky white, and a cool blue-gray soften the floral pattern, while black gives it a sharper outline. Across those colors, the lace remains the main surface. Ruffles add horizontal movement at the straps, along the bust, at the hips, and around the miniskirt hem.

The clearest change comes with the Spellbound Lace Skirt. Its long, narrow line runs from a high waist nearly to the floor, and the sheer lace no longer breaks into familiar lingerie components.
Paired with the Spellbound Lace Tee, a short-sleeved, high-neck top in the same floral pattern, it becomes a complete look. The lace is no longer simply decoration for a set; it is the fabric of the outfit.
The tiered miniskirt and cropped top work differently. Here, the ruffles are not small trims. They widen the line of the body and make the silhouette feel more animated. In the short blue-gray style with cups, ruffles gather at the hips and along the lower edge, joining a lingerie construction to a more theatrical shape.
What Makes the Rodeo Reference Stick
The Western reference is indirect. There is no denim, leather, or familiar cowboy iconography. Instead, the title is carried by back lacing on the corset, thigh straps, ruffled tiers, and short styles that expose more of the leg. Those details are more pronounced in black than in the pastel colorways.
Not every piece moves Romantic forward to the same degree. The soft-cup styles, bras, and briefs retain the earlier line’s floral lace in fresh colors, which keeps the collection recognizable without opening a new direction. The strongest pieces are the ones that change the scale of the material: the long skirt, the cropped top, the bodysuit, and the ruffled mini styles.
