When you’re craving something extraordinary and a little mysterious, Ludique delivers. This is not simply a lingerie brand — it is a world unto itself. These slightly decadent, deeply intentional pieces invite women to craft an identity, express a mood, and reconnect with something ancient and divine within themselves.
The Story Behind the Brand
It’s hard to believe, looking at the brand’s opulent bras, kimonos, bodysuits, chemises, and briefs, that Ludique is the creation of a self-taught designer. The label was founded by Romanian designer Ruxandra Gheorghe, driven by a singular vision: to translate female empowerment into wearable form — and to help women reveal their truest nature.
The name Ludique derives from the Latin ludus, embodying the duality at the heart of femininity — powerful and playful, dangerous and tender, light and shadow, all at once.
The Lingerie
The Ludique range covers every category — bras and bodysuits, briefs and suspender belts, sleep chemises, tops and shorts, lounge trousers and kimonos. On paper, it sounds familiar. In reality, it looks like nothing else.
Every piece feels like the opening act of a seductive performance — one written entirely on the woman’s own terms. Ludique’s signature sculptural silhouettes and bold geometric cuts come to life in ultra-sheer tulle, latex, French Chantilly lace, natural viscose, and silk. Exquisite and precious, each piece is handcrafted — where cutting-edge design meets the timeless themes of world art and mythology.
Lingerie as Fashion
Every Ludique item is produced in limited editions, and many styles are designed to be worn as outerwear — as boldly or as subtly as the wearer chooses. The longline Diamond bra, for instance, works just as well as a daring fashion top, while the Ishtar bra looks stunning layered beneath a sheer blouse.
And even the most daringly sheer styles — the Lilitus knickers and bralette, for example — are fully realized garments in their own right. Reserved, perhaps, for the most special of occasions.
