What sets this Honey Birdette collection apart is its generous use of satin silk. In Sara, there is unexpectedly more of it than the lace and tulle so often favored by the Australian label — and the satin bra cups look absolutely stunning.
That said, tulle still has its place. The sheer mesh is embellished with floral embroidery, and the collection also features the signature straps that frame the most alluring parts of the silhouette. In black, the silk and tulle combination feels passionate and dramatic, while gold-tone accessories and shimmering lurex are perfectly placed. For all its provocation, Sara may well be Honey Birdette’s most elegant collection.
