The LOU collection reads as a thoughtful reimagining of the brand’s own archive. Leather dresses have been reborn as sheer occasion-wear in the most delicate tulle. The satin lingerie carries all the hallmarks of Gonzales’ signature craftsmanship, yet feels unmistakably fresh — the high-waisted briefs and sheer-cup bra being particular standouts. Transparency, in fact, is the quiet signature running through the entire collection.
And then there are the corsets — constructed from hundreds of fine vertical ribbons, intricately connected to one another in a way that is as structurally inventive as it is visually arresting.
