In September 2019, the lingerie world saw one of its most exciting collaborations: Los Angeles fashion label For Love & Lemons launched a capsule lingerie collection for legendary brand Victoria’s Secret. The line is available at select Victoria’s Secret stores in the US and UK, as well as online.
The launch was celebrated at a romantic event in New York. Alongside the brands’ teams, Victoria’s Secret Angels Grace Elizabeth, Winnie Harlow, Hailey Clauson and Jasmine Sanders took part in the festivities and fronted the campaign imagery.
And what about the collection itself? It more than lives up to the hype. FLL for VS panties, bras, slips and sleepwear pieces channel Victoria’s Secret’s signature glamour while infusing it with For Love & Lemons’ free-spirited, romantic playfulness. Expect plenty of lace, sheer fabrics and florals, whether as prints or embroidery.
The concept of the line is, in our view, best captured by the Melrose set, which includes bras, briefs, tops and skirts in delicate silk scattered with pink flowers and finished with lace. Of course, you may fall for something entirely different – the collection is broad, with options for many tastes, even though the overall mood remains unabashedly romantic.
