Rey is the second chapter of Bordelle‘s Spring/Summer 2021 collection — and its inspiration is as dramatic as the brand itself. Named after Reynisfjara, Iceland’s legendary black sand beach, the collection draws from one of the world’s most hauntingly beautiful and untamed landscapes: volcanic shorelines, roaring Atlantic waves, and a raw, elemental energy that feels as dangerous as it is mesmerizing.
To explore Iceland’s wilderness, Bordelle’s designers chose the most fitting vehicle imaginable — a motorcycle. That choice ripples through every piece in the collection, lending Rey a distinctly biker-inflected edge: structured straps, bold hardware, and the kind of confident, body-conscious silhouettes that feel built for speed and power as much as seduction. The range spans daring bodysuits, bras, and briefs, rendered in a palette of deep black, electric blue, and soft lilac — a color story as striking as the landscape that inspired it.
True to Bordelle’s longstanding commitment to responsible luxury, the collection is crafted predominantly from recycled fabrics. Sheer mesh and elastic strapping define the textural character of each piece, while custom-made hardware finished in 24-carat gold elevates every set with a detail that is simultaneously functional and unmistakably opulent.
