Ajour: Spring-Summer 2019 Collection

For their Spring-Summer 2019 collection, the designers at Ajour have dialed back the baroque abundance of detail that defined the previous season — but only slightly. Silhouettes are more refined and streamlined, yet the luxurious DNA that makes the brand so beloved remains completely intact, along with its signature softly muted color palette.

The collection is predominantly crafted from fine lace and weightless tulle. What sets this season apart? Against an already beautiful backdrop, two unexpected directions stand out: a dark stretch velvet line — less typical for Ajour, and all the more intriguing for it — and the Brownie line, distinguished by flock floral appliqués and deep burgundy velvet ribbons.
